Answer 1 :
ok, here are the fun places to look for a job: Six Flags New Orleans French Quartier Louisiana Superdome
Answer 2 :
You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://wa7.info . Many of these companies have been in business for several years
Answer 3 :
First check with the college to see if they have on-campus jobs. There may be benefits in addition to the pay, such as free parking and even tuition discounts. You also may be able to schedule your shifts so they complement your class schedule and that reduces commuting. Almost every business in the city has a help wanted sign outside. Also check with the attractions, such as the aquarium, zoo, parks, and museums. Good luck!

hip boots!
Answer 2 :
Contact Fema.I think you have to register with them. They want to make sure the people they gave money to don't get ripped off.
Answer 3 :
first and foremost you need a place to stay, no joke. then you should register and apply w/ the state government for a la license. then, go to the city's website and review for more info, like whether you need to register here too. then, go to the new orleans homebuilders assoc. website and get more info. by then you should know exactly what you need to get started. lemme tell you tho, there are more contractors than you can shake a stick at currently so be ready for competition in general, then for materials, then for labor. and don't forget to bring plenty of references, even if from in tx, so people will trust you, otherwise good luck.

Is there a lot of work around New Orleans?
My husband is an accountant and we want to move to the Gulf State area. Are there any jobs opening up around there? Do you know of anyone we could contact to get a job around there? We live in a RV and can move there at any time.

Answer 2 :
There are a lots of jobs because people are having a hard time finding housing. So, if you have on RV, your biggest problem would be finding a place to set it up. Most of the available jobs I'm familiar with are related to the rebuilding of the city, such as construction, engineering, etc. as well as unskilled labor jobs, like working in fast food places. With tax season coming up, I would think finding an accounting job wouldn't be too difficult.
Answer 3 :
There are tons of openings in healthcare. Our healthcare system is stressed with many patients, and all open hospitals are hiring.

About Did anyone show up to work in New Orleans today

Did anyone show up to work in New Orleans today?
Considering that NO residents consider it a reason to party if it happens to be, say, Thursday, I can't imagine anyone in the city being able to put in a day's work this fine post-Super Bowl Monday.
